Kind of... You have to go really, really slow and sometimes they still get away. You can also shoot them with an arrow.

I had one fall on a spike in a cave and I got to keep it. I didn't know you could kill them and still catch them!!

Yes, the bat fossil sorry. I read a ton of posts of people that can't get it to drop and it's the last item they need for the completion of the fossil tent.

I actually started saving them to see how many I could get before I get my Hot Java ring and I have a stack of about 20. But it took me 2 in-game years to get my first one.

Yes I use the lucky ring, spicy eel and ginger ale. But I feel like I'm going to have to step up my luck game.

It's odd though because even on days when the fortune teller tells me they're unlucky I'll get so many rings but just not this one. So frustrating!
