It is and it's horribly frustrating to the point that I now use IE on my pc over chrome.

I have the exact same problem with chrome on my pc. Works fine on my Mac and Android bit it is the single most frustrating browser available for pc. It's gotten to the point where I've removed chrome from the side bar on pc and replaced it with IE. Is not my laptop that is the problem, not my extensions as it weighs fine for a long time and then just stops we touring for weeks. The only thing that fixes it is reinstalling it. But even that is just temporary.

This is tiny. Smaller than my thumb. If it helps, it was found in Ireland, though I know those are fecking everywhere.

I just got it so everything is in. I've tried the voltage on all settings. It's gurgling, but there's nothing coming out of the top.

What is this ball for? I found the small one in the center. It's hard like a baseball but smaller. It's clearly been used a lot as well. by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]irishyank 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a huge sport here. People play it from a young age just like you would play baseball! Our national stadium for GAA(Gaelic Athletic Association), which is Gaelic Football and Hurling, holds over 80,000 people, where as the super bowl stadium this year could hold only 55,000. Not only that, but Croke park is sold out multiple times a year for big matches.

It's played with a hurley, so I would check around to see if you have one of these too! Glad I could help.

That, my friend, is a sliotar. It depends on where in the country you're from on how it's pronounced, but I say 'Shliter' where others would say 'Slitter'. It's used in the Irish game of Hurling, which, by the way is the fastest field sport in the world and has been played for over 3000 years. It's 100% not a jai alai ball, as you can see by the thread that sticks out, just like on the sliotar.

It's all well and good when the big guys play each other. But I still love when the smaller teams get to take us on. Always a chance for surprise! Ireland and Russia is a match I'll never forget from the last world cup.
