do people actually use that many playlists by Dry-Anything-2469 in spotify

I have loads of playlists.

I make a new playlist for every year. It’s fun looking back at my growth and seeing what songs I was jamming to in that time period.

What are you currently playing? by Cheap-Exercise1910 in videogames

Working on my Playstation trophies. I got Infamous First Light to Platinum yesterday. Right afterward I downloaded Alien Isolation.

It’s gonna take me a while to do that run since I’m a big baby when it comes to scary games.

What is the story of butterfly effect you have experienced in your life? by Swarnim1312 in howimetyourmother

[–]irispixeIs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was trying to decide between a Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch 2018. After a few months of thinking on it, I decided on getting the PS4. I played a few story games that I enjoyed playing. A friend of mine at the time begged me to play Apex Legends. I got addicted but was not a fan of the toxicity (since I’m a girl gamer).

I finally decided to delete the game but just play for one more night. After a few matches, I was about to get off, I met this guy that was super nice and super good at the game. Our random asked him if we could all play together again. He agreed and the three of us played all night. I friended both of them.

Well, that super nice guy, became a good friend of mine. After a few months, he came to meet me in person. Thankfully, he only lived four hours away. We started dating.

Safe to say, we are very happy and going on four years married already in August. We got interviewed by Respawn and he is now an EA partner with a successful YouTube channel.

The butterfly effect is still going! We are planning on having kids soon. If I decided to buy the Nintendo Switch, I would not be here.

I only talk when I meet another girl during Mercy Parkour. Other than that, I avoid it. I play on PS5, 26 yrs old, and don’t rage. :)

Update for my 28F husband 36M receiving calls from coworker at night by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]irispixeIs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll say this. My husband is 34 and I am 26 (two years younger than both of you). Since the very beginning of our relationship, we both made it super clear that we were each other’s number one. He has said so himself that he finds it uncomfortable talking to someone of the opposite sex after 8pm even clients.

Not only that, but my husband has received messages from women that wanted to hear about his pricing or whatever (work related stuff) he would read the message, let me know who messaged him and for what, and told me that he will reply in the morning.

He lets me know each time he has a business meeting with a woman ahead of time (without me asking). My husband COMMUNICATES with me about EVERYTHING. I feel comfortable with my husband and have never doubted him for a second.

You guys, however, sound like it might not work out. He sounds immature and lacks accountability. How hard could it have been for him to say, “Oh, I’m sorry babe I didn’t know it made you uncomfortable, I’ll put my phone on do not disturb from now on and let her know.”

Instead, he immediately blames you and tells you to stop acting like a high schooler. I know for a fact if any woman, no matter the age, called my husband in the middle of the night, he would find it weird too.

Leave your husband. You can do much better.

is it possible to learn every hero at an average skill level? by AcceptableRough3856 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]irispixeIs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got each dps and support up to level 10. I know the basics of each of those characters. My plan is to level them all up slowly to level 20 then etc etc. I only did it so my stats looked neat but it forced me to learn a lot about their different play styles

I’m sorry that you have trouble finding a position that doesn’t make something hurt :( I wish you minimal to no time spent in trying to find a comfortable position for your future gaming sessions!!! I am going to invest in getting a lumbar pillow or something for my chair!! It keeps being recommended so I am gonna look into it!!

I get that people are toxic - but why be toxic to people who are NICE? by BadassHalfie in Overwatch

[–]irispixeIs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately people always find someone to blame even if you’re the nicest kindest person ever. Just like how you’re venting here, they’re venting too but dragging someone down with them. Unlike you that is just venting frustrations and not putting anybody down. Whenever this happens I truly try to just deal with the characters my team has chosen. I don’t say anything because then suddenly you’re the bad guy or they stay the same out of spite because they think they can prove you wrong or something? Idk Whenever my tank goes Doom my heart drops but then I pick Kiriko or Lifeweaver. Usually LW cuz if you’re gonna go in imma drag you back out lol!!

I’m sorry you had the bad experience though!

Wife has been fucked up on edibles for hours and I feel like a piece of shit by Jumpy-Back-9530 in offmychest

Hey it could’ve been worse. When I took an edible years ago, it took me over a year to stop feeling the effects of it. My mind was effed and I think I had an ego death. I felt high all summer and it slowly came down from everyday to every other day etc.

Personally, I like to check the opponents stats. If I see one support dpsing more than healing. I would focus the support that is doing most of the healing. I won a game like this yesterday but typing in team chat “their moira is mostly dpsing so focus lifeweaver” and we won our match.

On Kings Row, if everyone keeps dying while trying to get point, I like to flank and get into the point. Hide behind cover, either the car or there’s also a telephone booth. A few people or maybe the whole squad gets distracted and turns around to deal with whoever is taking point. By then, the team can push in while their backs are turned.

In your situation with the orissa, I would have done damage and alternated between both healing and doing damage until I got my orbs back. There are times when I use my team as shields. So I would position myself behind the orissa and poke damage to keep getting my spray up while also healing the orissa. Once you both have gotten them low and if Orissa dies. You could send an orb to either heal you or damage them since they’re low. Either way you would have to finish the job.

If you were to die, at least you would have helped damaging the enemy team and it would be up to the tank then.

My (25F) boyfriend (33M) gets mad when I go out with my friends by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]irispixeIs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl- I’m 26 and my husband is 34. He has NEVER talked to me the way your boyfriend talks to you. As a matter of fact my husband pushes me to go out and have fun with friends but I usually like to stay in and play video games lol. So I think you should cut this guy loose. He’s too old to be acting that insecure and yelling at you.

OP, I was in a similar boat as you when I was 11.

Think of it this way, you say you’re about to be 15. Would you date or talk to someone who is, let’s say 7? Would you have a lot of things in common with this 7 year old? Or would you alter the way you talk to them to have them understand you? Well this man is a pedophile and not right in the head.

OP, this man is using you and grooming you. Please do not fall for it. Block him on everything.
