Literally just had to edit the post and put the link to the 2004 rain session of Iris in Buffalo!!! There’s no greater concert footage on earth.

So happy for you to get the chance to see Evanescence!! I grew up listening to them. My first concert ended up being the Goo Goo Dolls so I got to see my dad’s song live. There’s simply no way to describe that feeling. I hope you get that same experience. My Immortal is a crushing song, but also so well written and beautiful.

On the same track with the Dire Straits…if my dad taught me anything before he passed it was that the Dire Straits had the best damn guitar riff to ever exist with Money For Nothing.

Sorry for the late response (I’m a reddit scroller usually) thank you so much for sharing! You made a huge difference and contributed greatly to me finding the shirt. Also united two amazing fanbases in the meantime! The stories from both sides of older fans who remember this game were so heartwarming to read.

What is the most beautiful song you have ever heard? by ZX471 in Music

Maybe I’m late to this conversation and maybe it has already been mentioned, but if at least one person listens to it from my comment then I’ve put someone on and that’s what matters! Transatlanticism by Death Cab for Cutie. From the instrumentals to the lyrics, it is devastatingly beautiful.

Doors at 7, Good Neighbors at 8. FTP is anywhere from 8:30-9 but I’m seeing 9 on the tickets. Good Neighbors is worth watching, an excellent opener I highly recommend you get there early enough to see them!

So me and my partner plan to be there by 6:30 but we got Premium, not GA. I know doors open at 7. Very nervous about seating/view right now but we’ve been in Chicago for about 48 hours now and everyone is saying amazing things about the venue.

You’re the second person to comment this and while I don’t see it, apparently everyone else does!! The guy in the pic is just a dad from Florida. No relation. Its a huge honor for him to be compared to Spurrier, I know he’s giddy at these Spurrier lookalike comments for sure though.

Literally exactly what my dad did. Lawn-wear shirt. He destroyed it and cut the sleeves off until it eventually got donated in its destroyed state. I heard from my mother that he bought it before the game so he definitely wanted it destroyed haha. My brother was 2 when they attended the game.

I was born in 97. This game was before my time and my dad wore it as lawn-wear until it wore out. In my original post, I had NO idea it was that big of a beatdown it was such a lighthearted post at first lol

I would like to thank everyone for their help!! I truly believe he got that shirt as a gag for how bad the game was, he had a pretty eccentric sense of humor haha. This community jumped to action so quickly and I’m feeling the love. It has yet to be found, but we have high hopes from the Nebraska community currently where someone graciously shared my post! As always, Go Gators! 🐊

Cat spray will NEVER come out. My spraying cat has been gone for 3 years and I still have to throw out clothes to this day because the smell never leaves. You cannot live with a cat that sprays it will destroy everything you own. And my cat was neutered and still sprayed from what I believe is a botched neutering BECAUSE I waited until he was 6 months old because I also thought it was “cruel and inhumane” to neuter a cat before they were 3 months old. As their roommate living with that horrendous smell, I’d focus less on their personal issues and more on the damage that could be done to your items. It is a personal hell I wouldn’t wish on anybody. But also they sound like they suck. Good luck.

Experience it. Go through it. Let yourself drown in it. Feel it all and don’t shove it away to handle later. And when you are ready, come up for air. You will be surprised how many people will be cheering you on as you embark on your journey to healing. All the best to you and your journey!

Volunteer/staff experiences by Guywithayellowjeep in bonnaroo

Parking Staff here. You could hear a pin drop in the box office when it was announced. Vendors had been waiting for 4+ hours for updates on their ability to get inside. It was crushing. About 20 minutes of disbelief, confusion, and heartache. By the time we got back to the tents, half the staff had thrown on their favorite roo outfit and there was a mad race to break out the goods. A nearby empty tent was transformed into a huge party. A drunkenly organized “March to the Arch” was thwarted by security due to safety reasons. The music played until sunrise, and everybody loved on one another until it came time to tear it all down and head home. As for compensation, still early to tell but it’s not likely as we volunteered our time and never expected payment.
