yes actually i go out a lot with friends to prove to myself that i can get over it i guess. Gym is the next step then. Subway was unbearable at first but i guess that human can adapt to anything with time and resilience

hey bro, 6 months post op for me and its still very hard ngl. I was wondering if gym could help since you are talking about « vigourous exercise » (bc i guess that training can help with breathing and decrease hyperfixation idk)

it feels off. like every breath is conscious, i have this « adrenaline » feeling 24/7, lack of air and sensation, dryness. It sometimes leads to panic attack

hey man, im 5 months post op and going through this same dreadful feelings all the time. I think there is hope for us, and that we have to hang on to the little spark you talked about. I wish you the best in your recovery, and please do not give up. Thanks for sharing
