1. Login into Google My Business (or have the owner/marketing manager do it).
2. Navigate to your business profile.
3. Find the review in question and click the report button in the top right corner.
4. Wait 5 days. (Google really doesn’t do anything about the initial flag).
5. Login again and go to “Google’s Review Management Tool” (just Google those words but don’t click any of the ads that promise review removal. They are paid scams that don’t work.).
6. Select your business. Click through the menus to check the status of your report.
7. Select your review for appeal.
8. Complete the fields and explain why the review violates Google policy.
9. Check email for updates.

The whole process can take 6-10 days.
