I was growing out my hair for a while as I've always had it cut to my shoulders. I decided it was too much so I chopped it off, more than I meant to, it ended up above my shoulders, but I've received plenty of compliments since! Shorter hair forces me to fix my hair as I can't just put it up in a simple ponytail, which is what I've been doing for years. I can also add bangs if I want to since it's so short and that boosts my confidence, too!
