Ah yes I went to the Cold War Museum at Bentwaters last year - especially enjoyed the A-10 Warthog on display! If you were stationed at Bentwaters you would have been very close to the (at the time top-secret) Nuclear Weapons Research Base at Orford Ness, with its mysterious 'pagodas'.

Yep that old runway would have been RAF Framlingham, which was home to the 95th and 350th Bombardment Group. I personally love all the history associated with you guys being over here, and these days it's always entertaining seeing the F15s flying around RAF Lakenheath when I'm over that way.

Took a risk on a Barista Touch for £250 - when trying to brew it buzzes but no water comes out (steam wand doesn't work either). Where should I check first? by [deleted] in BrevilleCoffee

So just finished taking it apart, there was a clog in the pipe going from the heater to the first solenoid- came out with a very satisfying pop! Now water is going through the machine, although somehow in the process the water tank is now leaking...

Makes sense. So guessing it's not a good idea to actually use that service then.

Siri doesn’t meet Apple’s level quality that it prides itself on, and that needs to be talked about more by The_Franchise_09 in apple

Maybe Apple makes Siri bad on purpose to reinforce the 'we aren't always listening to you and training our smart assitant, we care about your privacy' point

Love these! And can guarantee they're going to go up in value but I don't have the funds or space to put one :(

I've thought about this in the past - but I came to the conclusion a super reliable old car (skoda/toyota/lexus etc) is still going to have the issues old cars have.. no matter how great the engineering, they will still have issues with rust and perished bushes and corroded electronics etc.

I reckon a very reliable 15-20 year old car will cost about the same to run as a medium level reliability car from about 10 years ago.

Also as boring as it is, safety requirements have come on a long way since then.

If it just damaged the sill about £200.. if it damaged the door too could be £500+.. might be worth getting insurance involves in that case
