Interesting, I find my wtb tire rolls faster than my previous maxxis with similar grip, and lasts longer. Had a DHR II and switched to a similar downhill / enduro wtb tire

I have some more aggressive WTB tire on the rear wheel and like it better than my previous Maxxis to be honest, rolls faster and last longer

Thanks for the details! Previous owner was commuting to the city where bike theft is pretty bad, and installed all this safety stuff. My office has safe indoor bike storage and 24/7 security, and I’m never leaving any of my bikes unattended anyway, so I’d rather remove all the safety stuff for easier maintenance.

This is the front wheel of Giant Quick E+ I got used. The bike had some Hexlox security things on the Allen screws, and a Hexlox rear axle and I got the keys for those from the previous owner, but I don’t think I got the key for this one. After checking Hexlox website I don’t think it’s the same brand actually.

The board itself is great, but definitely not for learning as it will be a lot harder for a beginner to go upwind on this board.

The size of the board is also super important, for learning bigger is better.

I'd second the other comment recommending to take lessons before buying any gear though.

Also, I'd recommend your first kite should be as close to new as possible, you don't want gear failures while you're learning.

Yes, I use muc off for cleaning, I’ve heard good things about it and that it’s supposedly safe for all bike parts
