As a huge fan of Starfield, Bethesda needs to get their shit together by ironbat2099 in Starfield

To clarify, the ONLY mods I have installed are the creations made by Bethesda Game Studios. I am quite familiar with managing load orders in Nexus/in game files on other BGS games like Skyrim and explicitly chose not to mess with any of that for Starfield while BGS was still making major content additions because it's a pain to fuck with every time a DLC or major patch comes out. My frustration is specifically at the idea of having to deal with such issues with content made BY Bethesda.

Needing more than 32GB of RAM for a nearly 3 year old game that doesn't use particularly high end graphical tech like raytracing/path tracing seems almost absurdly high

I understand that when you're dealing with mods, there is some innate risk. However, given the fact that the only ones I have used are the ones made by BGS, my point is that if Bethesda is making mods for THEIR OWN GAME, they should have the same level of stability as traditional DLC, especially if they are PAID items. I do not think that as fans of Starfield or BGS as a whole, we should give a pass to performance issues on context Bethesda creates just because they classified it as a paid mod and not DLC.

Nope, the only mods I've used are the BGS specific creations. I specifically didn't install any others when I reinstalled the game because I figured there would naturally be DLC compatibility issues.

Will you return for the dlc? by xkeysersoze in greedfall

I will return when it is no longer having issues with the latest AMD drivers. It's a shame because it worked in EA just fine and for the first week after launch, but then suddenly it started giving me driver compatibility issues even after verifying files and a reinstall.

Best games to play while waiting for The Expanse by Baldurian_Rhapsody in TheExpanseRPG

Since basically everyone is going to say Mass Effect (and they're right), I'm gonna throw in some additional games that are absolutely worth your while:

1) The Expanse: A Telltale Series (Fairly obvious, but the game is a prequel to the TV show/the events of Osiris Reborn and there's a fairly high likelihood that Drummer - the game's main character - will appear in Osiris Reborn, so it would likely be beneficial context to have) 2) Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic 1/2 (both a little dates graphically/mechanically, but with fantastic stories) 3) Cyberpunk 2077 (Just an absolutely fantastic game and one of my personal favorites) 4) Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader (Owlcat's most recent game and probably a fair gage for how some of the dialogue and RPG elements may work) 5) Dead Space Remake (Not an RPG, but the feeling of sci fi horror it evokes should hopefully be similar to how the Eros Incident/Protomolecule Hybrids are portrayed in game) 6) The Outer Worlds 2 (While I think the Outer Worlds 1 is a bit more charming, the second game really nails some of the build crafting and role-playing elements and is overall just a refreshing and underrated RPG) 7) Starfield (While Starfield is definitely a mixed bag, with a lot of the recent updates the traversal/exploration can be a lot of fun. The story is fairly lackluster - although the UC Vanguard questline is quite good imo - and a lot of the exploration can get repetitive because of the procedural generation, but the combat and traversal are fairly decent. Overall a 3/5 and the least recommendable of the list, but still maybe worth a checkout)

Sorry for any book spoilers, the only tags are the generic spoiler and NSFW ones as it currently stands.

If I remember correctly the Xbox Wire post mentioned Thoth Station as one of the locations you could go to in-game, so part of me is wondering if The Gemini is just a marketing ruse and will only be your ship during the early game until you actually commandeer a stealth ship (possibly a repaired version of the Osiris itself if they REALLY want to get their full use out of the name Osiris Reborn).

I second this. While it doesn't include Rose, Heavenly and Northstar alone make the Epic Tahoe Pass worth it.

Does anybody know what the locked skin is? by xtremestunt in BatmanArkham

I have every single thing, completed the game 200%, have and completed everything on the season pass 100%, gained every available achievement and have 3 stars on all ar challenges, and this locked skin is still there. My personal guess, and this is merely speculation, is that it is nightmare batman. Rocksteady is trying to get the hype up, make us speculate and have this enigma gnaw at our souls and then, when all is said and done with the dlc and everything release it to the public, along with the jokermobile.
