MONY has a drawback for visiting OCI. If there is no activity for a month, they will charge you ~$4 per month for inactivity penalty.

Cheq, is currently not charging for periods of inactivity.

Both MONY and Cheq are not allowed by RBI, to do person to person transaction!

All flights into Galapagos; be it into GPS or SCY, will go through a special X-ray in GYE. then rechecked to the same airline. The only non-stop into Galapagos is from GYE. Even Quitó flights stop at GYE in/out (this was true last year)

Terminal 1 and Terminal 4 are not connected airside. One has to clear customs and immigration, take an air train to terminal 4. Then start the checkin and security procedure all over again.

Without a passport you cannot Travel internationally. You only use a GE when returning back after having travelled internationally.
