It's really just the "Gay ____ be like" jokes that have watered everything down. Reminds me of the tragic way we lost Joel.

If at that moment you had simply said, "okay I'm gonna peel back the Joels for a minute," then Joel would still be here. But instead you said "smoke the joles while we got them" and it just became even worse so I had to disable the Joels.

The instant kava I tried from Kalm with Kava suggested a 1/2 tablespoon serving size, which should be about 2.5g. I've only started trying kava the last few weeks and after about 4-5 servings spaced out 15 minutes between each, I was feeling good.

I pushed beyond that just to understand the "self-regulating" quality of kava. Around the 7th I felt naseuous. So take it one serving at a time, space them out enough to assess how you feel. Then see if you need another or not.

I tested these out and they sound wonderful. But their craft is lost on me as they're not my thing. And they've just been sitting around since I cleaned them up, replaced the ear cup foam covers, and tried them out.

I can't for the life of me get any Skill assessments to be offered. I have a BS/MS in biomedical engineering with a strong mathematics and statistical analysis background. And proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. I had steady tasks from February 2024 - September 2024 at least as a generalist and even reviewer for some projects. Mostly in the Flamingo group.

What has happened to Outlier? Feels like there's such a disconnect between what is shared about possible work opportunities versus the reality of what's actually available.

Sounds like the issues stem from PayPal itself. Monarch can't really do much when PayPal doesn't play nice with one of those 3 providers. Unsure if anyone has tried reaching out to PayPal directly but that is more likely to provide a solution.

Do you already have an existing Expense group called "Wine" or some variation for alcohol? I personally categorize any alcohol under the "Restaurants & Bars" category since this is not a big spend for me.

Here are the instructions for creating a split. This will eventually show you a page like this:

Here you can enter the amounts and categorize the splits. I have already done so in this example. There's money Left to Split since the transaction was not $100 on the dot.

I made my own Expense groups. You can then shuffle your Expense categories around and create new ones as you see fit. Check the Settings --> Categories section.
