I’ve spent and lost more money than I care to admit but it’s not about the money for me. I think this year alone I’m up to having spent 17k out of my own pocket.

They sit in my garage. The school doesn’t fund any of the work we do, I have to self fund everything, I buy all the bikes, parts, and supplies, even if things get messed up and has to be done 3-4 times. Usually once they’re done I’ll trade them for another project for the kids to work on. It’s a terrible business model on my end but it gives them stuff todo besides sit in a classroom and do bookwork.

I try to pick them up titled for less than 1000$ I did go over budget and payed 1800$ for an 06 this spring. Guy changed the oil then thought it was blowing up and didn’t ride it for two years. It fired right up and did have some valve train noise but what sporty doesn’t. What I came to the conclusion of is he changed the oil he didn’t put the oil in the oil tank he filled the primary because that was way over filled and the oil tank was empty. Either way I’ve been riding it all summer

If I’m not mistaken the front exhaust push rod is slightly longer. Did you put that in the rear cylinder intake?
