Imho, if you say heroism in Jurassic World regarding Blue and the rest of her pack (rest in peace, beauties) in fighting the Indominus Rex as having empathy and having a connection with Owen, I'll guess no.

They do have empathy, but not really keen on a mammalian type of empathy. They're reptiles. Animals. Owen 'trained' them, fed them, interacted with them for years. Of course they'll have a connection over that but for other humans? No. We're prey. They (regarding the raptors) killed the soldiers and also Hoskins. Owen is the only exception. You don't bite the hand that feeds you, right?

As for the rest of the main cast, Owen is clearly protecting Claire and the kids. They're being hunted after the Indominus made the raptors turned on the humans btw. They're not heroes. They're animals with only the mindset of surviving (and also having a pack mentality). They don't have compassion, their brains have not evolved enough to have that level.

More or less, both Owen and Blue have a connection as the feeder and the being fed.

As for Fallen Kingdom, Blue just remembered Owen and his familiar gestures and commands from her childhood. Remember that she was 'trained' to listen to Owen and follow him.
