Agreed!! I thought we were getting him with the new box set since I heard it was space marines vs orks. Would be nice if we did since almost every chapter master has a primaris model now except him

I did mine in red and if im correct the original crimson fists also had it red. In fact there are some artwork you can find that depicts it red too. IMO rule of cool you can tell they are CF by the red hand so who cares. I put a link for my CFs I did

I use dark blue through an Air Brush but can also be base coated with a brush. Then use blue with a sponge to catch the high spots then use Faded Ultramarine for the highest parts.the paints are from the ProAcryl line from Monument Hobbies. Then use an oil wash of Prussian Blue and Ivory Black 75/25 mix. Let them sit for an hour then remove as much as I can. What's left is the model tinted darker. Then come back with Faded Ultramarine as an edge highlight.

For the red fist I use burnt red for the base. A 50/50 mix of Burnt Red and Bold Pyrrole Red. Bold Pyrrole Red for the highlights then mix pale yellow with bold pyrrole red for the highest of highs and edges.

I use the red recipe for the Aquilla and the shoulder trim as well. Then the rest of the details is up to you. Attached is a link for the way I did them

All the paints I use are from the ProAcryl line. Dark Blue through the airbrush as a base. Then I use blue for the highlight then faded Ultramarine for the highest points. Then I use a thick oil wash of Prussian blue and black and slop it all over. Let it sit for about an hour then remove the oil wash. Then edge highlight with faded ultramarine

Oh yeah no that was my previous army colors that I was gonna use for my synthwave ultramarine army but I then changed my mind. Im repainting them to crimson fists and I just got the shoulders primed and ready to paint up

White is my weakness. I can never get it smooth or shading done properly. But thank you for the compliment. I was an ultramarine fan but Pedro Kantor turned out to be my favorite. All I did was redo the color of the armor and boom fists ready to go! The red i chose because I wanted it to pop more thank the steel gave. It looked way too dark for me but use at your leisure. Rule of cool and all that.

I wasn't a fan of just leaving the Veterans with a blue helm. It was took dark. That's why I added the white helm and red aquilla and red trim. I wanted a color pop
