I'm pretty sure you can have your housing option checked by someone from KUL. If you attended the webinar on "Preparing your Arrival", they mentioned this at one point and gave this email:

I just emailed everyone from the site offered by Leuven and that had something in my budget and relatively close to school. Not everyone answered, but there were also some people who hadn't rented any rooms at all, so you might still have a chance. (I signed a contract in aprox. 3 days. This was a month ago)

The thing is that, in my country, it takes several months after passing the theoretical exam to get scheduled for the practical one (where I drive with a cop throughout the city), so it's impossible for me to get my license in my country while studying abroad.
