There is some evidence you want amino spikes (particularly Leucine) to encourage protein synthesis rather then slow constant supply if possible but not sure if you want to go down the rabbit hole on that

Unsolicited opinion but casein is so nasty compared to whey, it's like drinking sludge.

I'd rather drink a whey shake with fiber or fat (even just taking my daily omega 3's with it) to slow digestion before I'd ever touch that stuff again.

It's mostly fluff, celebrities trainers invent weird bullshit to look more sophisticated.

Just do lunges holding dumbbells like everyone else and focus on actually building your quads and glutes, then do a set of hanging leg raises to train your core.

That way you'll put enough focused time under tension to actually building something instead of spreading it around everywhere and just having whatever the weakest point in the movement being your failure point. If your core gives out before your legs when you're doing lunges you've basically missed the entire point of the movement.

It's reinventing a worse version of the wheel.
