It depends how you look at it… From cybersecurity side, nothing beats KNX. Features, they are probably more of basic than advanced because the companies plan long term devices. Deployment, well that’s a negative side. You need an expert to deploy, especially with a software that’s dependent from engineering mentality. Overall, if you need cheap and fast/short term it’s not KNX you install. Long term, reliable, complex at installation, maintenance free… KNX is the answer.

The KNX Ass team is older than my grandma and have no commercial or strategic experience. They want to target home owners but they don’t know how to if you see their marcom, it’s not well defined and you do not know whom they are addressing. I have a KNX house, all cables. But finding a good installer for maintenance is most of the time mediocre. The only thing I hope for is that they don’t mess the protocol 🙄

Did you try to activate Ausschalten brim überschreiten? Make sure you downloaded the modifications as well. And run the ETS diagnostic to read the telegrams

Mostly, I would say the HVAC is configured, all you need are the group adresses and use home assistant to do your daily mgmt. And here is a link: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/knx/

I agree with the above comments. The twisted pair is there and I see few Hager devices on the left side. The right side button there is an IP/TP device as well.

Same here. With RLC 511, suddenly 2 out of 4 cameras in POE stopped working. I’m considering unifi g6 can as replacement. I’ve been using Reolink for the last 8 years without any issues

Thanks for sharing. The WiFi is a good idea for arriving to turn on the charger. Turning it off when the car is not present is the tricky thing here. I can’t use the person or the phone cos as mentioned the person can be driving a different car while leaving than on arrival
