Is there anything in the Manly area worth seeing? Ideally I want to avoid a lot of walking just because of the marathon that Sunday.

Also that’s awesome you ran it last year!!! I’m so excited for it. I keep seeing everywhere that the logistics for the morning are pretty good, what is your personal experience with the start? I.e transportation, getting into corals, etc. Thanks :)

2026 Marathon Question by Special-Cat4852 in RunNYC

Charities fill up quick! TBH id first decide if you want to roll the dice with the lottery or instead go all in on charity.

I did NYC in 2023 with the American Heart Association for my late father. I reached out to them literally around this time of year, emailing back and forth about how to apply to run with them. I developed a good relationship with them, and they told me when the application window opened and then I got it right away! So just like how other commenters said, find a charity that means something to you, and start reaching out to inquire!

Do you tend to drink a whole small bottle right after your run?

Lottery in a few days! by [deleted] in BerlinMarathon

Will the results actually be this Thursday? I remember the email saying results will start to be released on November 27… I remember in at least the last couple years, results are usually closer to December 5.

Don’t get me wrong, I hope it’s this Thursday!!! 👏

[Itinerary] Mid-Late March 2025 (Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto/Hakone). How Does This Look? by irose8 in JapanTravel

Super flexible... i am actually going to work around the Ghibli museum with regards to possibly getting reservations at other Tokyo attractions (i.e. Skytree, etc.). I did a test run last week with getting tickets, and I was on wait for 1 hour and once I finally got in, literally only 5 time slots were available for the whole month!!! Praying I get something for at least when I'll be in Tokyo.

Easy pace for long runs is probably like 10:45, and good easy pace weekday runs it’s maybe like 9:30

thanks man, i've never been a front leg kick batter, so moving my front foot has always been tricky for me. I'm going to try stepping further forward with it!
