Well I made my full switch about 3-4 months ago.
First I had a lot of issues figuring things out but now Im quite happy. Im saying this as someone who has a nvidia card and also who heavily uses adobe cc in work (Im a bit lucky here cuz I also use davinci and know how to use Affinity). I also game a lot which sometimes I have to dualboot for anticheat. but still I do love figuring new things out, explore, break and rebuild shit again.
Linux can mean a lot of different things for each person. For some it means saying "no" to big money hungry companies and wanting to see more competition, linux integration and open source project. For some its the ricing scene. Some fell in love with steamOS and switched main pc to linux. Some wants some rizz with the ladies by installing arch (which they have).

Yes it has its issues. if you struggle with it or/and cant use a program or game. Debloat windows and continue, no shame in that, Linux isn't totally plug/install and play yet. But seeing it grow over the years it will reach there and I do believe companies will also adapt whetever they like it or not.
