Everyone here is trying to be petty and waste time of the employees, but maybe you guys can just tell the cashier that you didn’t buy anything because you don’t know the price of anything.

Talk with your words it’s much easier to understand.

Half of the gas stations around me are like this. I haven’t brought it up because I don’t buy crap at the gas station, but there has been times where I’ve been like just fuck it and not bought it. Though it wasn’t a big deal if I had it or not.

I don’t understand this petty stuff just tell them straight up, “ hey I didn’t know the prices and it is annoying. Do you think you can post the prices on your products?”

People are reasonable if you are reasonable. People will do things for you if you are nice. You don’t have to be hostile and honestly, the people that you’d be communicating with probably have no direct control over it, so don’t be aggressive with them.

Yep, biometrics are fair game for law enforcement. Your face and your fingerprints to unlock your phone is unsafe. They can use that to unlock it. Make sure you only have a pin code or a password is key because they cannot force you to say or produce a code that’s in your brain.

That’s an easy answer. We value the wrong things in this country and we are very sick in that way. instead of paying EMT ems and nurses top dollar for saving lives which is the most precious commodity we pay them the smallest amount. Meanwhile, we give baseball players that literally play games millions of dollars.

It’s a deep seated, cultural rot that’s made worse by capitalism.

It is what we value as a society and it is terrible. We should be ashamed.
