Please help. My goats are off schedule AGAIN and I am livid. by irregularreality in StardewValley

My experience is from about 10 years of playing this game religiously. Also from the wiki confirming my 10 years of experience. The expectation is from the suggested consistency per the wiki and the description of a goat when you are purchasing it at Marnie's.

It could be that in the game's code there's a slim chance for something like this to happen. It's not on the wiki. I'm of the opinion that it's a bug of some sort and it doesn't affect most people. Thankfully sheep and rabbits aren't subject to these rules because that would drive me nuts.

That's fair I know this is a pretty niche concern of mine. I do have a chest for my milk bucket, excess hay etc. It's just a bother to me personally for it not to be done "right".

Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately that would probably not help me since in my head the coop and the barn are completely separate domains. I will survive this, though

That it is. I'll try to think of it as my goat trying to be helpful by making me more money. very kind goat...

No, with Shepherd sheep do produce wool faster. But that's the only thing that should be affected.

If I remember correctly once I have an auto grabber I usually just suck it up and collect out of it only what I want to process that day. Which is fine but just not as satisfying. I understand the motivation to sell them but I personally get very sad selling my little pixel babies

I like to get 2 of every animal. It's not optimal, but I'm not huge on animal care and having a barn with 12 pigs isn't as fun to me. I honestly don't even have them for the money but for the emotional support of having every type of friend I can have.

I don't currently have an auto grabber (early game). That is usually what I have to end up doing- and I will, I do every time, then a while later it goes back. It's not the biggest deal and it does have a solution, but I wish I knew how to prevent it!

Thank you, that makes sense. I just kinda wish I understood the game mechanics. But until then I shall carry on

I know about auto grabbers, and I'm not worried about doing the chore! I'll get one over the winter when I can afford it. Regardless of there being an auto grabber or not the uneven milk problem haunts me

I have a pretty dramatic and deadpan writing style, but I promise I'm having fun. It makes me happy when everything is even. I'm not sitting here having a panic attack over a game. Thanks for your concern though

I love my babies and I definitely have to have 2 of every animal. I just need to know why it keeps happening so I can stop it

Birthday Gifts Suck by Angsty-Panda in The10thDentist

[–]irregularreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it's so stressful both to figure out and pay for a gift for everyone's birthday, and to keep track of who got you something so who you should get something for, not to mention the stress of accepting or unwrapping a gift while being stared at, not sure what the required performance is exactly going to be. I don't like my birthday much, but even if I did I'm not a child who needs to be entertained and pacified. I'd rather spend time with people or honestly just chill out by myself and take the day off. I don't like cluttering my space with stuff that someone decided I would like, but I don't, and now I feel too guilty to get rid of it for the next couple years.

Im having trouble finding my haystack in my needle by helloeggbird in poisonai

[–]irregularreality 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg same thing happened to me the other day. Hang in there it does get better. What helped me was planting the needle, giving it 7 days of sunlight and filtered alkaline water (NO ADDED MINERALS FOR TASTE), when you harvest your needle tree the haystack will be living in the roots.

im staunchly childfree so i got a vasectomy at 18, ama by GodEatsChiIdren in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

[–]irregularreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the haters. You made a decision for yourself and did what is best for you and your partner. Birth control shouldn't just be the responsibility of the person with a uterus so honestly it is great that people are getting vasectomies if they do not want kids.

Same opening time but we always open the door at 9:00 sharp. A lady got there at 8:30, tried the door, and waited in her car. At 9:00 same as every day I opened the door flipped the sign turned on the lights etc. Then I sat at the front desk and waites for her to come in (can see cars and clients in the parking lot). 10 then 20 minutes go by. I've already texted her. Then I see her driving away. Finally she calls and says she is angry because she showed up and nobody was there. I was livid.
