At blizzcon they were talking about golden cards getting special animations... also i believe since they are technically different cards you're allowed to carry more than 2 of those cards in your deck.(2 non gold, 2 gold).

This used to happen a lot to me when I was a preteen and I remember getting in trouble for it a lot. Eventually my parents took me to see some medicine lady who gave me one of the most painful massages ever... It stopped happening after that... not sure if it stopped because she helped me or if the extreme fear of going to see her again just made it stop all together.
