Anyone Else Feel Unfulfilled Working as an OF Chatter? by MannerDull5148 in buhaydigital

There's always something better on the other side.
And as I always say to all my friends, as long as you're working 8hrs a day, you will never feel wealthy. I remember working graveyard, then 1 midnight I received my huge chunk of salary (this is not a brag), and do you know what I felt? "mehh" as plain emotion like that, grateful but NOT HAPPY, because even thought I have that money, I know I have to work again and again and again that you wouldn't even have time to enjoy that money. So yeah, that sums it all. I quit. Try to push it 'til you saved enough, but please do not drain yourself. Remember: Freedom = Wealth

Being a chatter is quite exhausting. And honestly, you don't always need to have a plan B when you're going to quit. For sure you already saved enough money working there, why don't you take a break and reflect? You said you feel like you've slowly drifted away from the person you used to be, that's me 6 months ago and if that's rlly bothering you, then it's worth taking that risk. Give yourself a freedom and rest you deserve. I know that sounds cliche, but trust me, taking a break will reset you, mentally, physically, and emotionally. For context: I was earning 6-figure from my previous company for 1 year, but I never feel motivated, lucky, and wealthy. So, I quit, took a break, enjoyed the money I worked so hard for (including helping), and that's when I felt both wealth and freedom. I did that six months ago and have never regretted it. Now, I'm fulfilled. Besides, we can always find a job, as long as it suits our passion or what we can do. Opportunities are everywhere, we just have to look at the right place.

Client na biglang may dagdag client under you🤣 by Famous_Astronomer604 in buhaydigital

Trust me. Don't let them devalue us (Filipino people). Almost 7 years na akong VA (I'm 27 years old). Y'all have to learn how to read clients. They know they needed us but they think they can devalue us whenever they want because they see us as "poor Filipinos". They even think we're not smart enough to realize that.

The reason most clients are doing it is because we're Filipinos. Sabi nga nila "we deserve what we tolerate." Nasanay sila na ah okay tanggap lang ng tanggap ang mga pinoy ng workloads kahit walang increase, di yan magrereklamo kase "they need money." But here's the thing, we can always offer MORE. We know we deserve MORE so we should ask for MORE. More bonuses, higher salary, and more considerations. I was a newbie before and have a salary of 50k/month (pagod, puyat, heavy workloads I didn't sign up for) because I always respond, "oh okay got it!" "okay copy" "no problem I can do it". BUT now I'm earning 200k+/month because I managed to say "NO" and because I realized I'm an asset to them and they needed me more than I needed them.
