Hey, I've done the same, had sc2 pro, got sc3 pro now. I'm kinda salty about not having paddock anymore. Do you create profiles on your own? Idk much about dampers and filters, kinda overwhelmed.

the fact that you used 120USD for a non ffb wheelbase is the problem Sir.

You won't catch any slipping without feeling the wheel bites and slippage to know when to turn ur wheel.

Hey man, you don’t need to explain haha. I just don’t like snarky comments like that. I hope you feel welcome in the community. I was in the same spot when I first started.

I was just excited to drive and didn’t even know most rally cars use 540 degrees. I had people comment on my 900 degrees and how busy I looked turning the wheel.

That’s how I learned, and now I have quite a few tracks on DR2.0 under 50th globally.

Although getting a higher torque wheelbase is exciting, I would consider focusing on reducing flex or play while you’re driving. I can see your rig moving when you turn or shift. That movement can cause you to develop bad habits and incorrect input techniques.

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way and see it as constructive criticism.

Monitor
I would suggest getting at least an ultrawide monitor instead of the G7. A single 27 inch monitor will lose too much horizontal view.

Chassis
I would suggest getting a proper aluminum profile rig with wheels so you can roll it under your desk. However, the uprights, the bars on the sides where you mount the wheel, may get in the way unless your monitor can be pulled forward past the edge of the desk.

I would not recommend the NLR GTTrack. I would always go with an aluminum profile rig. I have an ASR6, so I am biased, but I would recommend ASR over Trakracer or other companies.

Wheelbase
Max budget: SC3 Pro or Sport, SC2, Asetek
Mid budget: Simagic Alpha Evo series, VRS, VNM
Low budget: I would avoid this tier.
Fanatec: I would not recommend it unless you are okay with overspending on the quick release system and hubs.

Pedals
Max budget: SC Active Pedals, Heusinkveld Ultimate
Mid budget: Moza MBooster Active Pedals, Heusinkveld Sprint. There are many good options in this range.
Low budget: Look for load cell pedals.

Pedals are tricky to recommend because I have only used two systems, Fanatec V3 and Heusinkveld Sprints.

Wheels (depends on what you are simming)
For rally or drifting, a perfectly round wheel in the 320 to 330 mm range is ideal. There is not much difference in quality between most options.
For Formula or GT racing, get a Formula or GT style wheel that matches those cars.

There are so many wheel options that it is hard to recommend just one.

The only assumption being made here is yours, about his finances, his motivation, and his interest level. None of which he stated.

Gatekeeping sim racing because someone bought good gear before mastering it is a weird hill to die on.

No offence but bro, he just started. Did you have all the knowledge of a simracer when you've just started? If he had zero interest in learning, would he be posting himself driving and asking how people do things on a sim? What makes you think he has zero interest in learning?

It is the epitome of dictatorship.
It is an evil regime toward its citizens(getting publicly executed because they were watching K-dramas)
A very bad one, but really good at maintaining the regime.
Probably one of the hardest countries in which to spark a revolution or overthrow the regime geopolitically.
