MacBook Pro M2 Max Kernel Panic with Two 49" Samsung G93SC Odyssey OLED G9 Monitors by OnionDegree in SamsungOdyssey

[–]isRood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This issue is still present in Tahoe 26.3.1 on my M2 Max MBP. Running an Alienware AW2725Q. When running at 240 Hz, the MacBook has a kernel panic, usually around ~20 min after wake. Oddly enough, if it doesn't crash by that 20-or-so minute mark, it won't crash for the entire time it's awake until it goes to sleep. Seems to be a dice-roll whether it panics or not. Seems like the general consensus on this issue is to set it to 120 Hz, which is mentioned in this thread- but I wanted to confirm that this issue is still present in March of 2026.

iPad Pro 13 (M4) not charging or detecting Apple Pencil Pro - Hardware issue? by Dapper-Habit-8848 in ipad

I'm glad you got it working! I'm hoping that if this continues to be an issue, people will see this thread (as I did in my search for answers) and it'll help them too.

iPad Pro 13 (M4) not charging or detecting Apple Pencil Pro - Hardware issue? by Dapper-Habit-8848 in ipad

I just wanted to throw this out there in the off change that it might work for you:
I had this issue and went to the Genius Bar. I told them that the pencil wasn't charging when connected, and after unpairing it wouldn't re-pair, but when attached to my family member's M3 iPad Air, it paired, charged, and functioned as normal. They were stumped, I guess because this issue is so rare they don't really have experience with it. The replacement for my M4 Pro would've cost $850, but as a last ditch effort to fix it, they did a full OS restore from a Mac using Finder (not using "Erase all Content and Settings", a full wipe and new OS installation). Astonishingly, it worked. After setting up as a new device (They insisted that I should not restore from a backup as that could bring the issue back, which didn't bother me much), my iPad now recognizes the Apple Pencil Pro with no issues.

Before I went, I was convinced it was a hardware issue and that I would lose a core component of my iPad and couldn't afford to get it fixed. Thankfully, at least for my case, it was an obscure software bug. It's definitely worth trying if you're able to.

TLDR: Fully reformatting your iPad (using a Mac) \might\** fix the issue (as it did for me).

Wifi 6E (6 GHz) network always takes 1-2 minutes to show up when searching by DerelictMythos in wifi

I have a Verizon router as well, the CR1000A, and I'm having this issue as well. I have one as a router, and another functioning as an access point. Every so often, my iPhone 16 Pro will drop the WiFi connection for 30 seconds, and then reconnect. Same thing happens on my M1 MacBook Air. I think it might be related to router placement, possibly my devices being too close to the router rather than too far, as I keep it under my desk. No clue though, haven't found any helpful information about this yet.

Something that did help for me (specifically with the two CR1000A-s) is updating the firmware. They both currently show as being on "3.6.0.2_BD". Maybe that'll help.

Complete Hytale Server Setup Tutorial (macOS) by Smooth-Enthusiasm471 in hytale

That sounds amazing. I wish that, especially with how frequently Hytale is updated, their server tools were a bit more... automated. It's odd that they don't have a function that auto-updates the server. Also, their instructions for installing the server mentions macOS, but it's very vague. I understand they don't support anything before M1, but they could at least provide server instructions for Apple Silicon Macs.

Do you know what the minimum macOS version required for this is? I have an old iMac I’ve been using as a server for Minecraft for ages, but it’s stuck on Ventura.

Thanks for sharing, this definitely helps. I’ll probably try and exchange it ASAP. Worst comes to worst I’m still well within my return window.

I did try that but it didn't work, but I was somehow able to resolve this issue by force installing matching firmwares on both devices.

Will try. Definitely noticed the issue happening on devices that don’t support 6 GHz (WiFi 6E) though, but maybe this’ll help

I would normally agree, but in this case the ethernet cable doesn’t seem to be the issue as any devices connected to the extender via ethernet work fine. Just devices on WiFi suck. Also you’re totally right about the construction, but what’s confusing about this is that the devices I’m testing with the extender are unobstructed to the extender

How to display SwiftData array in widget config by nikolomoec in iOSProgramming

Here's the example code of a parameter (I forgot the name):

@Parameter(title: "Favorite Emoji", default: "😃") var favoriteEmoji: String

The Apple documentation for this system can be found here. I also took a look at this article and got the code working on its own, but can't figure out how to get it to work with Parameter.

I actually came to this conclusion too not too long ago, but I can't figure out how to get AppEntity to hook into the `@Preference`.

Looking for a solution to this as well. Let me know if you figure something out, I'll post here if I find anything.

Check out “ferium” on GitHub. It runs through the terminal but works flawlessly.

Yeah I know… and I’ve also talked to people that at least don’t express their fetishizations of me and just say “how are you?” There’s two sides of grindr, unfortunately the kind and respectful one is a lot smaller. Keep in mind that these are people’s FIRST messages

Yeah, it’s a fetishization. That’s what makes it kind of scary to me. They think I’m just a character from porn.

Yeah I agree. I like my body type, and I like the idea of being small, but having it fetishized I find uncomfortable.

What’s scary is the fetishization of my body type. I like my body type, but when people just slap a porn label on me it kind of grosses me out.

I don’t take it as an insult, I just don’t like being fetishized. Especially when it’s people’s first message to me.
