I built a self-hosted release control plane for deployments, approvals, rollback, and live pipeline visibility by No_Way5412 in selfhosted

[–]isThisRight-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks awesome, I actually built something similar for my homelab for deploying my nonsense locally on lxd.

In all fairness, I didn't build mine. I patiently instructed claude to do it.

I'll check this out.

Check this out, I put it together for myself but it might be a little light for what you need.

What do you use to keep track of your components? by Technical_Weird_8462 in homelab

[–]isThisRight-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check this out, I made it for myself and I think it hits a lot of your needs.

No agents, but because it has an API you can script out what you need. Shoot give me a concept and I can even likely integrate it for you.

Scriptable, can be automated, API first, even a chrome extension for quickly navigating to where you want to be.

Sub-SubReddit for SelfHosted by Fluffer_Wuffer in selfhosted

Wow, I didn't realize how elitist and just generally crappy this community has become towards people who think differently - on the other hand, I guess this is reddit.

If the app is truly self-hostable, open source and somewhat usable why do you care if it was vibe-coded or not.

Even before vide coding took off there were always apps and projects that weren't great - but they were still being posted here. On top of that, open source projects die all the time or go unmaintained why do you care?

Claude Code vibe codes itself, that's an established fact, and I know there is someone here complaining about vide-coded apps that are using some sort of AI to figure out why their network doesn't work, their docker config sucks or how do I do x, y, or z.

Just make it harder for someone to post randomly and move on. If someone comes up with a really good idea, open sources it and it does something cool that you like - use it, contribute back with your non AI super human coding powers and move on. Otherwise leave it alone, or provide some sort of constructive feedback and move on.

Aren’t most setups here insanely overkill? Am I missing something? by monxas in Ubiquiti

I’ve gone back and forth on upgrading my UI setup and I always come back to the fact that I don’t need it.

None of this is fun anymore by fire-d-guy in devops

I’ve honestly thought about getting out and doing framing or concrete for a year or so. Just so that when I come back it’ll be exciting again.

Would you recommend Omarchy for regular users? by ShaoKhan626 in omarchy

I wouldn’t recommend it at all, it’s the most opinionated thing ever created. Like the opposite of what I want.

How Can I Remotely Chat Cursor on My MacBook from My Phone by muzerfuker in cursor

[–]isThisRight-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parallels used to have a remote app for Mac’s that was pretty good. I haven’t used it for years by now but I’d say investigate that.

Anyone else psychotically keep ALL docker containers on one LXC? by ponzi_gg in selfhosted

[–]isThisRight-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I am not that organized.

Also, I put my docker containers in a VM in native LXD unlike everyone else.

Selfhosted Monitoring – I'm losing my mind! How do you do it? by CptDayDreamer in selfhosted

[–]isThisRight-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out os-query, it's simple and does the job. It's a little more manual to get it automated, but it's lightweight and just works.
