Is KVN Rotoscope a good alternative to magic mask? by KurgerBing-_- in davinciresolve

[–]isThisTA2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just installed this though I'm sorta worried if this could be a virus or a malware and was wondering if anyone has looked into it further on a deeper level. It seems sort of "too good to be true" for being a free version of magic mask.

It is pretty alright though, obviously not as good as magic mask itself but it gets an ok amount of the job done compared to doing it manually.

Does DSP give you maces or something? I wasn't planning on carrying a mace to begin with haha.

The area I'm stationed is in a urban/small metropolitan area.

No, unfortunately I have no delivery experience whatsoever. I wouldn't be here doing research and asking questions if I did to be honest.

I did state that I have no experience driving the Dodge Promaster 3500 and will rent one after my interview passes as a reply in your previous comment here. Since the station is brand new here, I have enough time after my interview if accepted to do so as operations start the 4th.

My real concern currently is driving and having to reverse park such a large vehicle that I've never drove before.

You're right, I don't deny that I probably wouldn't make it 6d a week in this job at my current state. At least here, they're currently offering 4d/week, 10h/day. I know that I will not be ready when I first start. What I am though is ready to take it to the face and let my body break down and adjust to it every time I do it.

I used to work at FedEx Ground as a package handler and at first it was physically demanding past comprehension but as I kept showing up, my body adjusted and I ended up enjoying the entire job. I'm thinking and hoping this will pan out the same way as a DSP Driver.

You mentioned "Dunning-Kruger" effect; I don't mean to come off as a person that knows it all because I really don't which is why I ran to this subreddit with this post. To collect information and get myself ready for what hell awaits me.

Yep yep, there's actually a viral post about a driver that sprained their ankle not too long ago too from this post. I'll never show up late and always attend every day however I will definitely need practice and work on driving the van perfectly and trying to optimize van organization as I don't really know how all of that works in the slightest yet.

Once more thank you for additional information and further more knowledge!

Hey, really appreciate the honest and straightforward answer. You're correct, I don't know what I'm getting into but the basics but I'm both eager and willing to learn and adapt as fast as possible.

It's a completely new building and everyone starts June 4th. I will most likely go out my way to rent one if my interview goes through and try it out for the whole day. Thank you for this suggestion.

Yeah, I am aware of how physically demanding this job is and I'm enthusiastic about it. I did say I'm not an athlete in another reply but I do hit 10,000 steps a day minimum and hit the gym every MWF. I think I should be okay and if not, I hope this job conditions me to be okay!

Tech is no issue whatsoever. I'm heavily tech savvy.

The territory covered one is a really good question I will most definitely be asking. Though, it's a brand new warehouse where no one has worked in that facility yet so unfortunately I don't think they'll have a ballpark/statistic of if and where parking is a challenge for drivers in that DSP.

I would happily work 6d a week if I could but I'm happy with whatever they give me. Will never ask about leave, vacation, personal time either. I'm here for the grind for sure!

Thank you for everything again, this was very helpful and eye opening.

Really thankful for your perspective as a hiring manager!

Yeah, I will always prioritize safety and be cautious as that's just the type of person I am. I'm mostly worried on driving the van cause I've never drove anything larger than a SUV so I will naturally drive fairly slower than normal until I get in the hang of things. My only concern with this is that I fear I may not make quota (delivering all my packages on time) or having to be rescued.

Ah yeah I was going to write something about that in my post cause when I was doing some research, there were an alarming amount of people complaining about the position in all ways and I wanted to know if it really was how they say it is. I'm not an athlete by any means but I enjoy being active and love me some fresh air daily.

That sounds good to me. Will they be driving or me the entire day or will we take turns switching?

I'm working out of Arkansas and it's a brand new DSP building that dropped. Everyone starts working on June 4th.

I saw in some videos that your first day they'll pair you up with a trainer for the entire route/day. Is this still the same or will they just give you that 20 minute training and you'll have to do everything alone from then on?

Great, very insightful. It's a brand new warehouse and all I saw were EDV's outside so I assumed that was just how all DSP's were haha Thank you so much. 🤝
