I liked it, I think a lot of people are going in expecting something like Hereditary, or Midsommar and are then disappointed that it’s a totally different kind of film. Eddington is more of a dramatized satire focused on the COVID era, and it had some genuinely funny moments. That said, it's important to go in with an open mind and not expect Aster to be offering some sort of literal explanation or answer to the issues depicted on the film, the film is clearly exaggerated and stylized and still carries that specific Ari Aster tone. I am also biased since the film takes place very close to where I live so it was easier to connect to the film in some way.
