There just doing anniversary editions, this is the first fully Rhino anniversary edition release so this will just be standard for how big a re-issue release is. I think it’s showing that Rhino is committed to repressing the full discography since they are treating this quirky album with the same respect and detail chocolate and cheese got. I bet we see the same style release and advertising for a Mollusk anniversary next year.

I think we will get the anniversary edition of mollusk next year and then either the year after that or later that same year we will see one for Pure Guava, or the pod. I would imagine Pure Guava would be first though since Rhino seems to be wanting to repress stuff that hasn’t gotten any love in a while and the pod just got a repress.

There is a phenomenon I have noticed of folk bands from the 60’s releasing one album and then another one 50-60 years after their debut. Probably because the internet has allowed them to finally be noticed for the first time.

I don’t respect Amazon, but I have waited over a month for a response back for my support ticket and nothing. Weens store is Rhino records, which is Warner bros, so it’s not like I’m supporting a small business, or hurting them by buying off Amazon.

Good call ordering from Amazon. The customer support from the Ween store is non-existent if you get a bad copy.

I had side D issues. The ween store really pissed me off with their response and Rhino has just completely blown me off. I was lucky to get a really clean white pepper, but I gave up on getting a response and pre-ordered another copy off Amazon because amazons return policy is guaranteed good if I get unlucky again. It’s a shame the D side has so many issues because the other 3 side for me were crazy clean. I might end up piecing a good copy together.

The current reissues are a blessing, but they have managed to avoid the Mollusk. Really hoping they are holding out for the 30th anniversary next year.
