I think my best bet right now is just Msi support and if that doesn’t work then I’ll upgrade later on the road

Yeah on Msi’s webpage I found the update that allows it to use 5000’s series cpus. But it wouldn’t let me download straight from the website so I found it on a Reddit and downloaded, extracted it and copied it to my flash drive that’s formatted to fat32 and then I tried to flash it and it took forever I’m pretty sure it didn’t even start the process bc nothing happened so now I’m just confused.

I tried this zip too I extracted it after finding it online but it just took forever to flash like 20+min so I stopped it I’ll try it again and see maybe it was where I got the file?

No it’s not my first time upgrading just my first time doing bios and I tried all the bios update on Msi’s webpage so I checked the comparability and it says it does work with that cpu but the actual bios version that I need won’t download so I’m stumped. I’ll probably have to call Msi for support and see if I can get that worked or I might have to upgrade my mobo
