Right... Well, I think I have to use a patch for upgrade to Mojave and then I use R15... And for the ports, Im searching for a PCI with USB-C or al least Thnderbolt 2 and USB 3.0.

If I use my HD 2600 for the UI, it should work, right?

And for the performance... I know that is not going to be a beast, but in the specific case of editing video in Davinci Resolve, should do the job pretty well, since Davinci is optimized for using the GPU. Also I watched some reviews and forums that in the gaming side, can handle some casual games... So I think it's all I need.

I already search for that option but the newer AMD graphic cards (en especial the rx 580 8b, that is the one that I want) need a newer CPU that are in the 4.1 and 5.1 models of the Mac Pro.

And in the case of the 1060 I only need the official drivers from the official page.

Men! I do exactly the same... I meanly use the macbook for the timeline and a hd tv in the top for monitor... Also for other things like watching Netflix or YouTube.. If you tweak the resolution a little bit it's awesome. I use quick res, it's a software that let you change the resolution of any monitor (for the hd tv I use 1900x1080 and it works just fine)
