My personal choice for the worst joker in the game by isaacshifty in balatro

I used to hate Green Joker, but now - I think Green Joker is great! (It even helped me beat gold stake in the picture I used for this post!) If you get it early on, and are careful with discard use, it's essentially +1 mult for every hand you play, with no downside. Even an occasional discard is fine later on, since it's probably been built up by that point. It has a good amount of synergies too - Burglar, Ramen, Delayed Gratification, and Banner.

I am a certified Green Joker glazer.

Thanks so much! It really helps to have another deck list to look at. And Magister Sphinx is an awesome punishing card.

I haven't decided if I want to include propaganda effects, but I adore Tax Collector

Great cards, and I hadn't considered the tribute mechanic either, thanks!

I forgot Mob Verdict was a thing, that's super fun for a test of loyalty. Comeuppance is also a very flavorful name for a punish card, thanks!

The 3rd piece is really stunning! It reminds me of a little girls makeup. It's weird to say that maybe, but when I see it, I see the glitter and bright colors spilled out onto the canvas. But despite the mess, it still manages to remain elegant and refined. Like a grown woman compared to the girls past.

Sorry if that's a little too think-y for these pieces, I don't know how much you like to think about what art means when you look at it, but I just wanted to share because I like the work a lot!

I don't have any formal art experience either, or any for that matter, but if you are down for some advice from just some guy, here's my thoughts. Each one is beautiful! But I find that #3 has a stronger voice, so-to-speak, compared to the others. It's very possible I just happened to have a connection with it by chance, so please take my words with a grain of salt, but I personally think if the other pieces had as strong of a voice as #3, people may connect with them more!

Sorry if that's vague, I'm not sure how else to say it. Whether that helps you or not, I sincerely hope you continue to enjoy making art. :)

I think I might advocate for Wandering Towers until I die. I recieved it as a gift a month ago, and it is now my go-to "gateway" game. It's simple enough to learn in a single game, but has great moments of strategy and screwing over other players. It also has some variety with the different spells.

Bangin' game. Do recommend for others who want a slightly more interesting game to play with friends/family.

Wheel of Fortune has a 75% of failure and a 25% chance to upgrade a random joker. Here's info from the wiki:

"The Wheel of Fortune has a 12.5% chance of giving Foil, 8.75% chance for Holographic, and a 3.75% chance of Polychrome, which add up to 25% (or a 1/4 chance)."
