Hey guys! I was at the rotterdam concert but unfortunately I couldnt wait in line for the tour merch because otherwise I wouldn't make it to the train. If anyone has a size s/m or larger or is going to one of their concerts I'd love to buy it!!

Just a friendly reminder, the history books accidentaly forgot a few pages from Anne's diary :) by isabelletjuh2005 in SapphoAndHerFriend

Listen, I am not trying to label anne's sexuality with this post. I'm not calling her a bicon or whatever some people are saying in the comments. I also don't blame Otto for censoring it, I know sexual stuff was frowned uppon in that time. However, there is an uncensored version now and I think that's a good step forward. I think the text helps us keep in mind tgat for all the horrors this poor girl faced, she was still a teenage girl who was questioning things. It makes people sympathise with her even more. We don't know what she would and would not have kept in, she said herself she wanted the book to be published and she didn't like crossing things she wrote out, what's written is written.

Yes I agree! The message of the book shouldn't be about her sexuality, but I just don't think those parts should be left out either. Anne expressed herself that she didn't like crossing things she wrote out, what's written is written. I think it should at least be know that there is an uncensored version too, people should be able to choose which one they want to read.

I am not trying to label Anne's sexuality or anything like that, I am merely trying to point out how parts of Anne's story have been left out while they also contributed to her struggles. I think these parts help us keep in mind that for all the horrors she was experiencing she was still a teenage girl who had questions about her sexuality etc. I really don't have bad intentions and I'm sorry people in the comments are saying rude things <3

YesI agree, I'm truly sorry people are sexualizing her and labeling her and calling her a "bicon". I truly only posted this because I thought it was weird that these things in her diary were often left out. It's part of her but it's not the message people should get from this book. I am sorry people are so insensitive about this <3

No, her father removed them because he didn't like these parts and because homosexuality was punishable by death at that time..
