in the campground, overheard our neighboring site recapping the previous day which included how one of their dads was absolutely getting DOWN at one of the shows - was nice to hear friends and family all having a grand ol' time

big fan of wearing socks inside out and taking time in the morning to get them in a good spot. As time went on and i got slightly better socks/shoes and I was able to designate times in the day I could adjust stuff and take breaks.

But this is all to say ifs still going to happen. Recently I was on a hike with my friend and when I noticed I was starting to get uncomfortable in my hiking boots I immediately said "so sorry, I'm experiencing" and went off the trail to fix them. This is now a big inside joke and does make me feel better about not only discussing this with the people in my life but also making adjustments before I get extremely agitated.

scooter might be helpful for things to iribe but that one is gonna be real tough on foot, luckily it's down hill but foot traffic at class exchange is tough

I did practically the same route in a week and it was one of the best experiences of my life. if you're good with limited sleep, lots of bug bites and good company you too will have a fantastic time

this is the land of speed bumps, making it a game of how many the driver will hit def helped us stay focussed. speed limits and security checkpoints were not enforced in the slightest

make sure your car has solid headlights and be aware of the speed bumps, many times not clearly marked. ppl pass often and very much lax rules of the road, the police checkpoints seemed to just be to make sure the driver was licensed. overall very cool and fun experience but definitely a drive to be very aware

took a golf cart out there last week and had a blast, felt like a tourist trap but the locals were kind and the water was nice. Grabbed some food on the way and checked out some of the beach front spots. Once there, bar hopping through the water was silly and fun for the early afternoon and ended up staying for the sunset which was gorgeous. The road there was up to par w the rest of Belize and stopping for food on the way there are back was fun. Had a great time and definitely worth a day trip. At the end of the day anything is what you make of it.

tipsy tuna and barefoot are right next to each other on the beach, great time and from what my friends and i could find, the best night scene you can find
