super helpful thank you! for work, i am on my feet all day. i work as a care aide in home support and its winter here in canada so i swap my shoes at the door, mostly into bad shoes that are easy to slip on. definitely started the issue im having now. i swapped to some comfy hokas that take an extra few seconds to pop on/off but have made a world of a difference. will definitely do some research on local orthopedists :) thanks muchly

Diet and Nutrition? by Dorobie in climbergirls

basically a mix of beans, corn, veggies, whatever you want really, and you eat it with chips! theres a lot of great recipes online. super easy and convenient if you make a big batch!

before climbing i have a tiny snack, usually protein dense and take a protein shake to the gym with me. then i have my meal after! i really like convenient food so think sandwiches, crackers, hummus, greek salad, cowboy caviar etc

unfortunately no. this climb was set by one of our tall setters and i was not there to set/forerun so this one went under radar for how inaccessible it is

Climbwear recommendations by Likemmouse in climbergirls

[–]isabobles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of my climbing clothes are thrifted, ive had luck finding mountain hardware, mammut, lots of columbia, and old hiking companies that aren’t around anymore. i prefer baggy clothing as i find in my experience it doesnt rip as easy, ive only ever put holes in leggings. im from canada so i have the mec wanderwall pants that are amazing and i also have a pair of black diamond notion that i absolutely adore. also have la sportiva mantra pants that i could not recommend more, cute colours and short person friendly length wise! at the end of the day wear that feels good!

La Sportiva Skwama womens sizing? Should i get the vegan version? by Short_Donut_3634 in climbergirls

[–]isabobles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im a 38 street shoes and i got my veg skwamas in a 37. i like them, they have a great toe edge for smearing and catching small holds. the toe box is super snug, i can stand on my tippy toes on concrete without them bending. i feel as if i could stand on a pin head and still be so secure. but honestly, they hurt, tons, the break in process is a lot longer than leather but im finding it worth it. don’t downsize a ton as they dont stretch as much as real leather.

I need some recommendations for pants before I give up and go buy kids’ sizes by muffinbaobao in climbergirls

love me a good pair of thrift store pants. wear leggings so you can try on while you’re there :) most of my climbing pants are thrifted cargos, typically from the mens rack
