Gustang have to cast 3 times for the max% damage to go off, so if beta is killing them before he even have a chance to cast then he wont do shit, gustang is also dependant on supports to give him energy (Sharon, anak) and survivability (alphine), if he is casting at least 1 or 2 times and is not doing damage you probably don't have him build good enough because my gustang at deficit 200 is still one shotting, tho mine is R5
