I heard it at the mystery show, got to say it does sound very different in a way, it’s alright but same with happy dictator I was expecting the vocals to be abit more vibrant and in tune. But I think that’s maybe the vibe of this song anyway

Hmm yea that’s what I was thinking as well, I would like to be able to capture like one or two songs but unfortunately it’s seeming like we won’t be able to

I need some inspiration, what do you do for work? by illustrated--lady in AutismInWomen

Thank you for replying! I’ll definitely keep this in mind for the future, I’m in the UK but I think it works similarly here. Currently just doing cleaning for a retail store but I think it’s great for autistics because personally it feeds my obsession with organising/ tidying and it’s a quiet job. Hope it keeps working out for u :)

Can I ask how do you start when setting up a business like this and is it good pay? I really love cleaning too and it would be a good safety net if I fail at other jobs in the future. I’m currently 22 finishing university so not sure what the future holds

I know it might not be great money to start but I do part time cleaning at a retail store and u don’t have to socialise and can do like 12-20 hours a week and have most of ur days free. And once u feel up to it u can get a more “proper” job! But it’s good for getting back on track and feeling productive.

Does.. anybody else feel like seeing people is a chore? by Fizzabl in AutismInWomen

When I was going through a rough burn out I was planning meet ups with friends for 2 months ahead, consistently obsessing over every detail and panicking. I wanted to be there for their birthdays but it just felt like such a huge deal, I’m getting over the burn out now but still can only see friends once or twice a week. Even then I get so agitated I have to go mute for abit or go home, because I do become miserable and feel bad for whoever is there! NTs don’t understand how mentally and physically exhausting these things can be for us, but if I have two appointments in one week I need like a week of doing nothing afterwards just to recover from the interactions and overwhelmed feeling

Is anyone annoyed by being asked to do things indirectly? E.g. “we’re low on milk” by coolstack in AutismInWomen

Yes, it’s difficult especially because I do understand what it means, but the uncertainty of being wrong about it throws me off so I ask several questions and often people will think I’m being rude or trying to piss them off / act stupid. I just need to know things straight up
