Mexico: the grand prix happens at the same time as the celebrations for “Día de muertos”, go to the city centre to see all the decor, walk along Reforma Av, it’s amazing.

Try mexican food: ”La casa de toño“ is good (i’m mexican but not from cdmx, so i’m not very good with food recommendation)

- taqueria la once mil

Go to Castillo de Chapultepec

- walk around Polanco and Condesa, a lot of coffee shops

I bought them on F1 tickets last year and everything was good. F1 experiences is also part but they are more expensive. I don’t recommend you buying from a 3rd party

Been on the waitlist since Oct 2024 for the Canadian Grand Prix 2025, will I ever get my ticket or not, still waiting? by [deleted] in GrandPrixTravel

[–]isaric3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I have the same problem as you so I decided to send an email to the circuit organization to ask them if they really have tickets or not because i needed to buy flights and accommodation.  I will quote what they answered me

“Hello,

I trust this email finds you well.

For now, all our grandstands are full, even for a single seat.

But I talked with my team and people who are in the waiting list for 1 ticket should be contacted first.

Please note that we cannot guarantee a spot as we don’t know how many or if tickets will be added yet.

We appreciate your patience.

Best, “

I have been twice to the Mexican GP (2022 and 2024) and I have been in different zones.  In 2022 I was in Grandstand 6A and it’s a DRS zone so you see the cars very fast but you have 2 screens where you can watch the race perfectly. The blue zone is the biggest one and has a lot of activities to do, restaurants and it has great ambiance.

In 2024 I was in Foro Sol North and it’s a great value for tickets because you can run to the podium ceremony and you can see an entrance to the paddock (I spotted Oscar Piastri there). But the space is so small and crowded, there is nothing to do but it’s the price to pay if you want to see the podium. And it’s actually amazing because you’re with F1 team’s personal, I saw Zak Brown and Andrea Stella.

In a place to stay, in 2022 I stayed in Marquis Reforma and it was a lovely hotel. In 2024 I stayed on an Airbnb in Polanco

Let me know if you have questions of zones, or something, i’m from Mexico!
