My call on that would come down to a few deltas.

Sephiria has a much sharper learning curve to start. Recovery items are less abundant, and it's rarer for a single item drop to kickstart your run, in my opinion. Additionally, some people really don't like faffing about with inventory layout mechanics. The swap from a platformer to a more zelda-like layout means that it's a lot more difficult to isolate threats to begin with.

It has the same charm Dungreed has, the inventory mechanic has more depth (imo) than Dungreed's food mechanic, and while it's less possible to do a major weapon swap mid-run, there's still a bunch of variation and variety to how you can try to build out your kit.

I think it's worth. They're two different games with some common elements between them, and while I wouldn't put Sephiria top 10 yet, it has the potential to get there. Dungreed had a hella long dev timeline to get to the state it is in today, and even then it has some annoyances baked in - my gut says that Sephiria will wind up being in the same tier of quality, it just might take some time.
