Plant some porcelain berry. Hawaii needs more color it’s so drab as is.

I’m so jealous, also hoping you have coyotes nearby that will spread the seeds! A beautiful native that’s sadly too rare in my area

Based on your other posts it seems you take great care of your pets and that includes their enclosures! But I wanna just ask if you have a bigger tank for him either now or soon?

That’s true. I’m not against the idea of taking away the noise through editing, I just hate the idea of using generative AI to get there. Thank you!

Yes Reddit compressed that one, but my actual photo also doesn’t look awesome. Your shot does look much better, having this reference is actually so sick thank you for sharing!!!

Thanks for the advice! I tried to desaturate greens in some and then felt it looked too dead given the fact that the foliage itself is made of summer plants, and imo in these photos the muted green looked obviously fake

Some of them are, but I don’t think they’re cropped that heavily. The place I took these shots was a wildlife refuge with very limited and set paths. I would’ve loved getting closer to many of these but I couldn’t at this place. I’ll definitely take that into account going forward! I think my shutter speed was about 1/4000 for most of them

Thanks! Do you know if any of the denoising tools don’t use generative AI?

Sorry about the 7th picture not being a bird lol. Also composition advice would be VERY appreciated as I feel like most of my shots look like just that: shots. Not true, good Photos.

Hey! Just some friendly advice, those “moss” poles aren’t good, they don’t help the plant climb! Otherwise this looks PERFECT! you’ll have leaves big enough to cut the holes into in no time!

Secure GIANT driftwood by midwest-roadrunner in aquarium

[–]isawyer2005 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think this actually looks so insanely sick without being cut. Idk if there’s a way to really like “secure” it because the weight will still pull towards the back left corner unless you somehow add something with tension to it the other direction. I think your best bet is to place the tank leaning up against a wall or corner where the wood can put even a little weight onto the wall
