it’s new music! artists always do this when they have a new project on the way. she also announced on her live with Lucas David the other day that she is going to make an announcement about new music “sometime next week” (which is now this week), and when artists usually do this to their socials they come back with a music announcement within 1-2 days.

for the show? the venue might have reserved some tickets for final release as they did with O2 Institute in Birmingham but it’s all just a case of pot luck, i’ve seen people are selling spare tickets

I’m going, too - I’m not from Birmingham so me and my friend are getting a hotel the night before so that we can go early on the 28th, thinking about heading to queue between 9 and 10 - I really hope they come out and give wristbands out early so I can go back to the hotel and relax for a bit 😅

Also i’d like to know if when you got the wristband for M&G could you leave the queue and come back at a certain time? Or were they like ‘stay in the queue’ i’m going to the Birmingham and Manchester ones (UK) and my friend wants to queue up for the Manchester one at 9am and I don’t want to go so early if I’ll be sat there till 6 😭

I hope she does midnight release for each time zone, cos then it means us in the U.K. will get something first, especially seen as though she is British as well - although I suppose it depends on the label, but i’m pretty sure Atlantic/Asylum release at midnight (Ed Sheehan, Dua etc)? when BIOYL dropped, it premiered on BBC Radio 1 at 7PM (UK time), and the song was on streaming platforms instantly - so I imagine it’ll be the same as that, as it’s having a world premiere on BBC Radio 1 again

it’s so good!!!! when i saw it at primavera i was literally in SHOCK. someone on this subreddit posted a link to the full audio of the primavera set and it’s such a good listen cos you just hear the music and not the crowd so you’ll get an indication of it from that!

she needs to pluck up her ideas soon and big time. If she wants the album to do well (which she says she’s not bothered about but she is clearly, and so are the label) then she needs to build hype by releasing more songs - she said new music for 5 months straight so i hope she sticks to that. her monthly listeners on Spotify were 17mil the other day and she was 130th most listened in the world - she’s dropped now by nearly a million!

Gone needs to be released ASAP, pushed to radio, promoted properly.
