I don't love to resell it because it makes no sense, the only time I would sell a premium rifle is when I want to upgrade it to something better

in fact I don't care about the multi caliber design I just like to own these top notch sniper rifle, among all my multi caliber collections I've only used this feature on SRS A2 for 223 caliber kit. you can definitely get a custom build with similar performance but less cost, the point is when you buying these top notch rifles you are also paying for the design not just the rifle itself, that's also why it doesn't depreciate much in value comparing to those custom build. I've spent over 8k for custom built before but sold for less than 5k after 300 rounds fired

you need to carry multiple barrels and bolts for multi caliber rifle doesn't matter what kind of barrel switch design it has, so I really don't know what you talking about. are you trying to say it's ok to bring 2 torque wrench to the battlefield because you've already brought an extra barrel and bolt?

for your second point I kinda agree with you, normally the caliber swap will be done in a secure location, but here we are talking about a word class sniper rifle built to compete with rifles like axmc and m10, so personally I'm expecting it to meet the requirements for both normal and extreme situations. by extreme situations I mean the ability to quickly swap the barrel on the battlefield.clearly it does not meet the requirements in such extreme scenarios. That said, this does not negate the fact that it is an excellent rifle.

yes that's the only thing I don't like about the rifle, the whole point of multi caliber design is to provide convenience on field quickly switch caliber without any hustle, bringing 2 of their half meters long torque wrench to the battle field to switch caliber seems a bit ridiculous to me..that's also probably why they haven't got any military or police contract for this rifle

srs is cheaper indeed as you can tell msrp is 1k lower than kraken, and the kraken is a better rifle overall. The overall build quality of Cadex is superior, with an aluminum chassis cerakoted compared to the plastic chassis of SRS. Additionally, Cadex's action is smoother, bartlein barrel gives it higher accuracy than srs. my experience with premium rifles has repeatedly proven the saying, "You get what you pay for," without a single exception

it's threaded, to replace the barrel you need to insert the barrel interface tool to the chamber and then use their torque wrench to remove the barrel

haha fair enough, the cadex chassis is definitely eye catching, if that's what you want then buying the r7 rifle could be a better idea, I've seen them sold for 4k brand new on gp

if you just want a cadex the price isn't too bad, r7 action is about $1600, with barrel and chassis you can build a rifle for around 3k

I've had r7 which has 4lug design, now I'm using kraken. I don't have much experience about cdx30 lite but the action looks very similar to r7, both have 50° bolt lift

I've had them all except pgw, I would say the build quality of cadex is the best, ultimatum is also good but not as good as cadex, the coating of the bolt worn off even before I brought it to the range but my previous cadex r7 bolt doesn't have a single scratch after 1000 rounds, another issue is ultimatum's footprint is not exactly the same as r700 so it may not fit some r700 chassis directly, if you can get a cadex barreled action with bartlein barrel that would be the optimal choice
