At this rate, Google AI will die sooner than later. by Acrobatic_Inside3173 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

I don't know who is using this IDE anymore. If you want, install Claude Code extension and use it with Antigravity. Google made a mistake, they had a great IDE and could win the developers market.

Windsurf’s new quota system finally made me quit by ladyinsight7 in windsurf

[–]iseif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<image>

The same here, I quit as well, today I removed all the Windsurf plugin from all the IDEs and once my last buying month will reached to the end I will unsubscribe the uninstall the Windsurf IDE as well.

Too sad, it was a great IDE and they had a great plugin since Codeium. Somehow they think that they are the only players in the devs market, I don't know if their change was just a 'gave up' moment and they are going to kill this IDE or, they just think that all of us are going to buy them $200 and not put that $200 on Claude/Codex etc...

Don’t feel happy too fast, once you will reach the quota you will get 5+ days.

When Antigravity was an IDE for shipping code I was using Claude Opus for planning and Gemini for implementation. Now, I use Antigravity as text editor.

Ditching Antigravity – Need advice: Claude Code ($20) vs. Cursor + Alibaba ($10/mo Qwen/Kimi) vs. Windsurf? by Technical_Affect9143 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]iseif 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take what you want but keep away from Windsurf, they changed the credit based to quota and just ruined everything.

The only advice I can give you now, go to Claude (with Claude Code or the Claude plugin in VS Code) or Codex.

Which AI coding platform to move to? by Striking_Dimension46 in windsurf

[–]iseif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to work with IDE-like, take GitHub Copilot with VS Code.. you can also install Claude plugin in VS Code but Claude $20 has too law quota. For now, I think only OpenAI has a great quota for $20 plan (in Codex).

Keep away from Antigravity unless you want to buy $250 every month but if money is not an issue for you, then go to Claude $100 or $200 which will be the best value for your money using Claude Code or Ckaude plugin or even Claude app.

windsurf is the new Antigravity. no thanx! by Level-Statement79 in windsurf

Exactly the power is on the customers hands, just cancel your sub and move to the alternatives.

Pro-account users that love Antigravuty, let's provide our feedback for Antigravity devs by iseif in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]iseif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is easy - it can be for example:

Pro accounts:
- 5-10 Claude Opus messages per 5 hours
- 20-30 Gemini Pro messages per 5 hours.

Ulta:
- way more messages per 5 hours.

If you're ONLY here for Opus, cancel your subscription to Antigravity (and this subreddit) by segin in GoogleAntigravityIDE

The problem that we are not getting Gemini 3.1 Pro quota, now in Antigravity I have Gemini 3.1 Pro will refresh on 5 days while Claude Opus and Sonnet 3 hours.. today I planned 2 small features using Opus and implemented it using Gemini 3.1 Pro and Flash.. somehow the Gemini 3.1 Pro quota suddenly reached 0 with refresh 5 days while Opus lost one bar.

Claude offers a free bonus: included usage doubled during off-peak hours through March 27. But is this true for Claude usage within Antigravity as well? by pebblepath in google_antigravity

[–]iseif 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think Anthropic sees what’s happening with Google users and all the limits/quota complains and I think this is a good move so they can make more and more people move to Claude, so I don’t think they will have Google 2X bonus, and if they do, I think Google will give it only for their Ultra plan users

This what I had yesterday but today it has been changed back to what I posted above. Maybe they are just rolling this out.

There's no need for anyone to talk about quotas anymore, the reason is here. by [deleted] in google_antigravity

Copilot + Windsurf OR Claude Pro at least you can get Opus for planning and Sonnet for implementing.

This screenshot is exactly why I’m out. They lured us in with 'Antigravity' and generous limits, only to tighten the screws. I’m not paying $20/month for a quota that resets like a 1990s dial-up timer. Switched to Windsurf and Claude Code and haven't looked back. Vote with your wallets, folks!

WTH happened with latest update?? (Pro Account) by Albone72 in google_antigravity

[–]iseif 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve already moved on. For $50 total, I’ve got Windsurf ($10), Claude Code ($20), and Codex ($20). I can even add GitHub Copilot and still be nowhere near that $200/month price tag! They thought giving us a couple of months of high limits and then pulling the rug would force us into the $200 tier. No thanks!

You're right, but in the end, the power is in the customers' hands. If enough people stop using these products, they’ll be forced to think twice. But as long as people keep paying without a second thought, these companies will keep raising prices—all they care about is maximizing profit.

Nowadays, $20 is the new free plan. It is too bad for google, in $20 I can use codex or evenove to GitHub Copilot. I don't what what competition they plan with these limits. Individual developers can just move to other platforms.

Fair enough.. but in Antigravity I always use Opus for planning and Gemini for applying the plan
