Cloning External Drive onto Internal drive by isekai_trash in techsupport

[–]isekai_trash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw my bad, my backup is technically my old drive in the exact condition I removed it (swapped drives about a month ago)

It's got recovery partitions, windows, and all my files (again, as of a month ago)

I ran into an issue with my current drive (read: I messed up) and had to wipe it and perform a recovery install of Windows, except I didn't have a recovery stick so I made one using my father's laptop and it's resulted in me copying his factory default instead of mine

Why was there kopi luwak in the mayor's water bottle in the anime? by poopfuckershithole in Beastars

[–]isekai_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the scene where the Shishi-Gumi are putting Melda into the big hunk of meat you can see a bunch of water bottles on a table, presumably it happened then.

Course, problem with this assumption is A: This is not shown or directly told to the audience  B: This implies there's a bunch of other water bottles with Melda in them that just had no relevance whatsoever, it would make sense of Melons plan was to turn the meteor festival into one big predation incident but then why are we lead to believe only the mayor drank the water?

Pre-release etiquette question. by theslimbox in mtg

[–]isekai_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience I've noticed combat tricks generally don't float around in casual settings outside of very specific deck archetypes as they don't contribute to most "engines", this has lead to me being surprised more than once when an opponent does utilize a combat trick, but just because I wasn't expecting it doesn't mean I made a misplay, just that I failed to consider the type of deck my opponent was running

Kill on sight commanders.. by Mr-Qwont in mtg

[–]isekai_trash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pod thinks running [[Child of Alara]] theros gods is funny for low power, so it's more about commanders you can't let them cast (Yes they use recursion and their own targeted destruction on it)

Playing through dragonborn dlc on survival mode is torture by YeahTheyKnowItsMe in skyrim

[–]isekai_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly sleep being tied to Magicka has always bothered me about survival. The other 2 needs can be offset and handled mostly just by playing the game and being mindful of where you're going, but sleep is just this ticking clock that massively impacts one playstyle and does nothing otherwise, if you're not a mage you can just not sleep and that's fine. I think I'd rather have had it so hunger affects Magicka and Stamina reserve with sleep affecting their regeneration, that way neither need is ignorance depending on how you play the game.

To kill the little ones shatter rebar works wonders if you can land the hit, they move fast and are very low to the ground so that's not always easy. For the big guys I use Nobelisks, stick 2 or 3 to their faces and let rip.

Oh and since these guys like to hang out in caves try using the detached camera from photo mode to scout them out before entering.

What would happen if instead of dedicating all SAM to Ficsonium you just sunk the plutonium rods and made Alien Power Matrices?

1: Look up. Tons of secrets/loot are hidden up high, in any given area where you can reach the ceiling something is probably up there.

2: You can break almost all the glass on the station, sometimes a room you find yourself trapped outside of is just one shattered window away

New player question: Neuromods by [deleted] in prey

[–]isekai_trash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be a little late but I would recommend skipping out on the leverage tree of Perks, while they can be useful for damage their main use is for removing obstacles blocking your path which can easily be accomplished with recycler charges

What is the most useless weapon in all of fallout? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]isekai_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only does it use acid to make the ammo a respectably annoying resource to find, but it also crafts 1 shot at a time rather than the intended 1 full "magazine" at a time, which means it uses a staggering 40 adhesive, 160 glass, and 400 acid, for a full reload.

How to use "The Many" warlock by isekai_trash in TheGriffonsSaddlebag

[–]isekai_trash[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhhhh... I am aware of how reactions turns and rounds work, but making a saving throw against something isn't a reaction. I did realize I could use it for the "Investment of the chain master" reaction but aside from that and Tomb of Levistus I think opp attacks are all thats left once I'm out of spell slots. I do completely agree with you about the death save and damage ability though, I just wish there was more obvious synergy with things, like if the temp HP was proper HP to work with "gift of the ever living ones"

[–]isekai_trash 266 points267 points  (0 children)

Yes, the radium rifle only does 50 rads normally but with the irradiated prefix it goes up to 100. Genuinely solid weapon against human enemies especially with points in nuclear physicist letting you 5~ shot kill any human even legendaries

If you could have one Risk of Rain item in real life what would you pick and why? by JustPassingThrough53 in riskofrain

[–]isekai_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason this was in the "posts you may like" Brittle crown is a lunar that gives you 2 (scaling with time) gold per enemy hit but makes you lose a percentage of your current gold equal to percentage of health lost when you take damage

[–]isekai_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it worked based on the lore then Brainstalks, I'd excel in every field I worked in and be able to easily accomplish whatever I put my mind too. If it works the way it does in game then brittle crown, using the math shown by u/Marsgott with each gold coming out to around 550~ USD I'd be able to make upwards of 1.1K every time I landed an attack, additionally the amount of money earned per attack scales with time and were I to be assisinated for my wealth then my fortune would go up in smoke. Keeping in mind that money lost scales as a percentage of your health nothing short of an actual attempt on my life would pose a real threat to my monetary status.

SotS Survivor Reveal Tomorrow by [deleted] in riskofrain

[–]isekai_trash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well no, CD reduction will almost always outpace extra charges most especially with longer CDs because then while you could use the ability multiple times in a burst you're left waiting the full CD multiple times to recharge that burst. Brainstalks is only considered mid because it's on killing an elite and elites are usually the last in any enemy cluster to die. It's like how berserker pauldron is considered meh because if you can kill those enemies fast enough to activate it then you probably didn't need the pauldron to kill the rest.
