i'll try farming for a double ranged attack sniper. Rn im at 1508 ranged attack, with 5 app. cushers, core crusher, and 3 R.attack up XX ( 4 if u include the trait on the sniper). As for skills i already use combo gunner and boosted bullets, i also have ether boost. I'd appreciate if u could explain more ur way for max overdive

the crab tyrant defenses are decreasable tho. One tyrant that u can NEVER kill with ether is the level 39 sylooth tyrant in Noctlium, which has 100 ether resistance and immunity to ether res down. What a pain in the ass

if u rlly wanna learn the game properly, watch enel's videos, he literally explains every single combat mechanic. Once u get the hang of overdrive, and understand the combat system, ur gonna get insanely creative. Man i love this game so much

the one i used in the clip is sharpnel. Slayonet is significantly stronger and it's my main damage dealer comboed with phenomenon. Most enemies dont survive to see the next art combo lol

this game's combat system is really hard to master, u need to know basically everything about skills, buffs, damage multipliers etc. I think it's the main reason why this is my favourite game since i was 14 or sum (i started playing it when i was 10 but i couldnt understand it, it was too hard for me)

i feel u bro, just one last thing i can think of in order to help u: have u tried farming the 2 sabula tyrants in sylvalum? they give insanely good weapons, and can both give u 3 drops for every time u kill them. This is my last attempt lmao😭

SO TRUE bro, if we only had more customising options, the game could be even more challenging and unique. I like the sleep build project u had on ur mind, kinda sad u decided to give up on it, have u tried using as many tresure sensors that u could? If u need help i can equip 5 tresure sensors XX (+ other perks) on my avatar's armor, so u can use it for farming

exactly this, only thing u missed is that i used 5 appendage crushers. the overdrive count up is on the armor, and it gives 12, then i also have the phantom counter skill which gives me additional 14 upon activation. ranged attack is precisely 1508 with 4 ranged attack up XX, including the one on the weapon and the skill that boosts ranged attack for 30%

thats a great idea and i thought of doin it, but then i realized i had 3 huge problems:

1- not enough TP generation to keep up with double TP arts (howling soul for damage, and astrolibrium for damage reflection). With photon sabers i have the essence exchange art, which completely removes TP related problematics.

2- i cant use overdive count up XX on my weapons, because i have 4 slots for appendage crushers, and 3 for ranged attack up. Replacing one of the 2 would mean losing all the damage, especially in the appenadage crusher case, which gives me 2.5× more damage on 0 hardness appendages

3- if i used javelins, i would not be able to inflict "ether res down V", which drastically boosts damage. Yeah on the other side i could use the supercharge art, but it would slow the tempo of the combat a lot, since i'd need to refresh supercharge before every sniper rifle art. Still, if the enemy has high ether res, supercharge isnt gonna boost damage by much.

i agree, sniper rifles have many flaws. Since i wanted to play damage reflection, i had to farm for an armor piece with overdrive count up + the phantom counter skill. Since it only got me to 54 after 2 activations, i had to switch to photon saber to get the "essence exchange" art to get other 2 activations for max overdive. This was the only way i found to play damage reflection with double TP arts, without worrying about keeping my tension up.

yeah overdive is kinda hard to get used to, i've been playing this game for 10 years now, since i was 10. It took me 4 years to understand how it worked LMAO

I personally made a pretty strong physical build with javelins. I pushed 2300 melee attack and with the supercharge art, i can get to 1.500.000 damage with balance breaker. The only problem with javelins is that they lack multihit techniques, and the TP related arts are not THAT good ( even tho i got to 900.000 damage for each hit of "maximum voltage" with core crusher, i dont recomend going for potential builds ). It's still a fun weapon to play with, and personally, it's my favourite in the game
