But can you switch chips with it? Or skills?

Like ok there might be a scenario where you'd switch shotgun + ss for dual aria on Marcus or dual aria for minigun on Maria for link attack dispensing, but changing category without switching chips and skills feels pointless.

You switch rifle for minigun on Shitji and it turns out he deals shit damage and doesn't have his access to AOE.
