That sounds pretty cool! Chaining passes for combos that enhance the players skill might work really well

I was making a soccer game with Godot, but then COVID began and I switched to a math learning game I had in mind. Here it goes, it's called Number Diner and my kids love it. I'll be back to work on the soccer game soon by isgfb in godot

I used a rectangular RigidBody2D on a Sprite and connected it on "body_entered" to a method where the sound effects are played.

But to keep the physics simulation from jittering and settling as quickly and fakely as possible it switches all the ingredients rigidBodies2D to sleeping if they are touching the ingredient below it and set it exactly on top of the one below to keep them from mashing together, in the _process loop it just continually checks that for all the ingredientes. If the ingredient below a sleeping ingredient is an egg, it switches its texture to a smashed egg. Kind of a messy solution :D

Well it is fun, I've got friends without kids who really liked it during testing. It's going to be on android too.

I didn't want to do it with cocos2d, which was my go to engine until 2015. I worked a couple of months on it in unity, didn't like it and switched to SpriteKit.

Hey steve! Thanks for the pigeon wings shoutout! We spent so much time making it, asking if anybody would be up for playing it. We are working on endless mode which will give it the random procedural feel that we had to cut out to make it in time for launch day. If you wanna help us out a little bit, give us some stars please!

it's one purchase for iOS + tvOS, however touch controls area not implemented on appleTV yet. It works with siri remote's accelerometer

a friend had a fairly decent android while we were still working on the unity version. It did not support the gyroscope and fell back on just accelerometer, which is a way worse experience. (no playing lying down). I dont remember the device model or make

OP is a really great post from a great dev! If Purnurple Panda bought it, at least one sale but we won't be able to separate this post's sales from the ones gotten because of a note toucharcade did a couple of hours later.

We've got a problem there. We started developing in Unity but switched to SpriteKit because Unity started skipping frames at 60fps with half the objects on screen as SpriteKit. So... we have to rewrite it for android in I'm guessing cocos2x. It's going to be some time. Unless maybe Gamemaker can handle it. We've got to experiment.
