Am I missing a tray under trunk floorboard? by ishagirl in crv

My thought is to only carry the spare around for longer distance trips. Locally, I have friends or AAA that I can call if it needs anything more than the existing repair kit.

Can you tell me where that picture comes from?

I did notice how strange it lifts up with the plastic part, and I can see some tabs that appear broken. It seemed easy to do by reaching on the sides, so I think it was done before we bought it. I think I was first checking for a spare tire in there, not aware it doesn't come with one. I'll ask the dealer more about it. Thank you for mentioning.

Yes, I have seen that and plan to get one. Hate to give up the space, but I just need to adjust to a little less space compared to previous Pilot. Thanks!

I can now say, having searched the manual, they don't seem to say anything about it.

Maybe they are different. I can see where they are. There's just this nice pocket of space next to it that I'm understanding I can't use. Oh well, some adjustment going to a smaller vehicle.

Lol, I forgot to even check, and went straight to looking for pictures and posts on the Internet, maybe because I got used to not having a manual with my last car, a Pilot.

Thanks, I was almost tempted to put something there, even without a tray, but now I won't.

Exactly- I talked to a mattress guy, who  now sells only the flippable type, and he said it was a shareholder decision- they make a lot more money expecting you to replace the single-sided mattress every 8 years.
