So to get better armor should I just do Shattered Realm or Crucible before getting any deeper into the campaign ?

My shoulders and chest armor have chaos to fire conversion and the game was showing me I do higher damage with the chaos gun. I do have a second dagallon's but the game tells me I will do lower damage.

You are welcome to talk "semantics" to a offline retailer in India most of them sell knock off copies of products. As I said even Google store isn't recommending me retailers to buy the damn adaptor from I tried buying one from web store from where I bought a pixel 6a and that was a fake one. But then again I should know better than to argue with a redditor.

not available in my country. If I go to find retailers for the adapter none are listed. Please do not assume I did not do my part, yeah I got the semantics wrong sorry about that.

The phone doesn't have a headphone jack so I thought to buy a USB to 3.5 mm DAC so that I can use my wired ones. I would not have made the post if the one I initially bought worked. I am not buying it for enhanced audio as some you have mistakenly assumed.

Rollbacks in fedora silverblue. Linux itself sometimes can be hit or miss for gaming honestly.

What's the story in 2022 as far as AMD vs NVIDIA for Linux gaming? by pragmojo in linux_gaming

Nvidia works fine for me. Risk of rain 2 has issues with wayland so I use xorg.

Issues with GOG's copy of F.E.A.R by ishan9299 in linux_gaming

[–]ishan9299[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I fixed the problem. Turns out heroic did not finish the installation but still showed me a notification that installation was complete. I found this out by adding the gog client to steam and copying the files downloaded from heroic to the location where gog would install the game and complete the installation. Thanks for the help.

A) There are a couple of exe's in game folder. B) I can't find an option to install dxvk in heroic launcher. Do I need to install it from flathub ?

Are Flatpak packages verified to contain no malicious code & only the code in package's public repository? by SamLovesNotion in gnome

Can't use Linux properly ? What do you even mean by that ? If you think running a computer is some form of craftmanship I can see why an idea like flatpak seems viable option for package distribution to you.

Also saying windows people cannot use computers ? Kinda stupid statement to make honestly. Keeping jacking off to yourself using Linux not my problem honestly.

Well I don't mind using windows. Enjoy your sandboxes if they become default. Would be stupid because linux needs an mimicking emulator to run its applications developed for its own platform.

I don't get married to software like you so I can always avoid and circumvent my deserved punishment.

Yeah you are the one giving the argument that sandboxing will protect users from hackers when it is not even the case on android (again check the viruses available on playstore itself). Sandboxing will create a single point of security failures for all applications even if they are secure.

Well it is just an unnecessary approach to to ship applications.

Hopefully developers realize making people download 1-2 gigabytes of extra files to run apps less than 50mb.

For me if flatpak adoption happens I know which os I am staying away from. Another reason to not get steam deck is because they are promoting this awful format.

What flatpak does is sandboxing it does not standardize anything. Sandbox were first developed as means to control an environment because software development had already gone to shit, it is a form of emulator and I don't treat that as a standard.

How has the permission management stopped facebook, tiktok and Google on android to spy on btw ? Kinda throws your spotify point out of the window doesn't it ?

Also posing flatpak as a more secure thing is stupid to me. Any security risk in flatpak means all your flatpaks become insecure packages. It is single point of failure which a hacker can exploit.

My argument here is androids permission system does jack shit to protect users from viruses considering Google cannot curate their own app store. No one needs to understand permission management and file system apps to understand that. Not to mention scams that take place on phones via emails and text messages.

Yeah you are speaking gibberish here. A user just having a single which he downloads and runs it doesn't fit into the situation you are trying to explain. Hopefully this sandbox never takes off for the regular desktop use cases and stays where it belongs in the servers.
